John Ramirez, fine artist and art instructor grew up in the farmlands outside of Sacramento, CA. He studied studio art at Sacramento State University and UC Davis with Mel Ramos, Darrell Forney, Wayne Thiebaud and Greg Kondos. For the past thirty years, John has been a professional artist, designer, prop master, and muralist for businesses throughout the United States. John produces set designs and murals for San Francisco Youth Theater, Urban Putt San Francisco and Urban Putt, Denver. John continually explores his artistic vision in works in oil, acrylic and charcoal and furthermore, produces a line of hand painted jackets, shoes and other apparel. His teaching experience includes studio art, murals and set design for SF Youth Theatre, Marsh Youth Theater, Jean Shelton Theater and Mission High School.
